Women’s Ministry is a place where you are valued as a unique child of God, encouraged toward greater intimacy with Jesus, and challenged to explore your purpose in the body of Christ.
Our mission is to love, encourage, and lead women in deepening their relationship with Jesus by connecting with each other and studying the Word of God together.
We are a community of women seeking to find our spiritual niche in this world and believe it is best accomplished together. In Women’s Ministries, we want every woman, whether through a Bible Study, retreat, or small group, to find a place to connect and grow in Christ.
OUR MISSION
EVENTS & STUDIES
Our events are designed to equip women further as Christ-followers by addressing the issues women face. Inspirational speakers and great food are the norms, and you will come away blessed. Our Bible studies offer this setting.
We typically have quarterly women’s events, mom & child play groups during the summer, and numerous other events scattered throughout the year to maintain and grow relationships with other women.
Fall bible study
Women in the midst a season of change or waiting, busy raising a family, pursuing a career, or navigating retirement here is an opportunity for spiritual growth and fellowship. This fall we’ll be walking through Christine Hoover’s study on the book of 2 Corinthians titled “More than Enough.” The cost is $25, and childcare is available with registration. Our Women’s Bible Study is multigenerational. Registration $25 is required, LCC provided childcare.
women’s Book Club
Not your avarage book club. Do you desire to discover and learn more about redeeming grace, spiritual identity, rest, and discipleship? Our monthly themed book club will read one fiction and one non-fiction book and meet to discuss. Register below for more details.
Bunco Night
Are you looking for an easy way to connect with other women at LCC? Bunco is a fun, simple game that anyone can easily learn. If you’re ready for a fun night out, don’t miss this game night! There is no cost, but registration is encouraged.
BURRITO BREAKFAST
Are you just a woman, sitting in church, wondering how to get to know other women? Why not join us for breakfast? You can enjoy Anita’s breakfast burritos, coffee, and a devotional and not have to cook a thing! Registration is required, cost is $15.
FREE CLOTHING SWAP
Looking to clean out your closet or find a few fun new pieces? Bring your gently used clothes to swap—or just come and browse! No need to bring anything to join in. Just show up, lay out what you’ve got (if you have items to share), and enjoy hunting for some new-to-you treasures. Anything left over will be donated to Tree of Life Ministry and LAWS.
LCC Reads EPHESIANS - A Study for Men and Women
As we dive into the book of Ephesians, people are welcome to gather at 6:30pm for fellowship and prayer. The Study will start promptly at 7pm and last an hour. Each week we will focus on the same 5 questions, discussing a passage with table groups, and end by sharing our take-aways.
